OCP8M

Odor Control Plus+™ represents a groundbreaking advancement in odor control. Using PARTICLE Transport Technology (PTT), this portable system tackles all aspects of indoor air pollution, effectively capturing particles such as odors, smoke, gasses, toxic VOCs (volatile organic compounds), and harmful pathogens.

  • Are the OCP units grounded?

All OCP units are grounded and TUV (UL) certified.

  • Do the OCP units emit ozone?

OCP units emit ZERO ozone, certified by Intertek.

  • Can I use the OCP units in humid environments?

Yes, the OCP units are safe and effective in humid environments and are designed for humidity levels below 85% unless drying equipment has been deployed by trained, licensed professionals.

  • Do the OCP units pose any danger to those with pacemakers?

The OCP units do not produce strong electromagnetic interference (EMIs) that would interfere with pacemakers.

  • Should there be specific placement when OCP units are used in healthcare environments?

OCP units should not be used in the same room as an operating MRI machine.

  • Do the OCP units carry any residual charge when turned off?

The OCP units have gone through the TUV/UL Certification process and as part of that certification, they do not carry and residual charge once turned off.

  • Can I create negative pressure with the OCP units?

The OCP units are to be run on recirculation ONLY and not to be used for pressurizing any space.

  • Where is the best place to set up the OCP unit during an odor situation?

The OCP unit should be set up with the exhaust pointed toward the source of the odor.

  • Should the OCP units travel in truck beds, trailers, and/or box trucks?

The OCP units will travel best in a covered space. Avoiding rain is always best practice with transporting any electrical equipment.

  • Should the OCP unit be run on high for best results?

The OCP unit should generally be run on a lower speed, depending on room size. Conditions can vary, but to avoid creating a chaotic environment for the micro particles gives the technology the best opportunity to achieve best results.

  • Are the OCP units safe to use in clean room and data center environments?

The OCP units are safe to use in these and most environments.

  • For the use in rental companies, should the filters be changed after each rental?

To reduce the rental companies’ exposure, best practices would suggest that the filters should be changed after each rental. This, of course, will be a judgement call for the rental companies as reducing liability is usually achieved by renting the units with new, clean filters to prevent crosscontamination.

  • What is the maintenance/clean-up process when the units come back from rental?
