The wall system can also be used as a patient isolation area or clean room to prevent airborne contaminants from entering. When used properly in conjunction with an Abatement Technologies® Differential Pressure Monitor and a Portable Air Scrubber, the SHIELD WALL™ system maintains negative or positive pressure differentials. The SHIELD WALL™ system can also be used to build an anteroom to allow passage between rooms while maintaining negative pressure differentials.

While drywall and poly sheeting have been the traditional methods for containment, they are not suitible for cleaning and reuse. The cost it takes to build, break down, and dispose of these materials after a project ends makes this option both wasteful and expensive.
